چکیده

Because Congress maintains a reputation as the most powerful branch of our federal government in the policymaking process, it is crucial that we understand the ins and outs of these procedures that drive our nation. The factors of political party identification, Congressional house of origin (the House of Representatives or the Senate), Congressional subgroup of origin (committee, subcommittee, or caucus), and legislation type are examined to determine whether they affect legislation passage.
